A drive along the south shore today showed a few extra white caps coming over the reefs, the sun was shining brightly and it was very pretty turquoise seas. No winds really to speak of and ridiculous humidity. Think ..move and melt.
The cashier at the grocery shop said it was a bit busier than usual. The schoolswill open on Thursday (the first day for students preschool through senior) online. Going to be an adventure trying to teach preschool online. That's what pays the bills.. 36 years now.
Winds are not expected till Wednesday evening. I did see some beautiful dark clouds this afternoon and heard a roll or two of thunder. We also had a couple of short showers.
With all this covid still ongoing a bad hurricane experience is not what we need.
Stay safe
Marion

Well, Larry is supposed to pass to our east… the models show it veering north
at the last minute. As the models all seems to be in tight agreement i do not
see people here worrying or doing anything to prepare. We may get a tropical
storm warning today. The sea was a sheet of glass yesterday… today I’m sure it
will start to get rough. School supposed to start Tomo, i have a dentist
appointment and covid is raging here, so i don’t know what to think anymore. I
got human snacks, cat food and I’m just hoping the models are correct. Will
post again when the sun is up and the 5am report comes out.
