The Keys are getting beat up with rain and wind all day today. Radar does not look very encouraging and the forecast calls for rain for a few days to come. Fair amount of flooding, including a couple of cottages owned by good friends that may end up being demolished. They just sit much too low and close to Hawk Channel in Islamorada and I am not convinced that there is patience or funds for yet another rebuild. Sad to see all that work sacrificed, but hopefully they will be replaced by something stronger, higher and still very Keys-appropriate.

Regards and stay safe, 2020 is almost over...

Scott

Keeping a sharp eye on this one, it looks like the cone wants to park in my storage shed. Plenty of food and water, etc. on hand, just need gas for the generator and some kibble for the animals. Stay  safe everyone, be prepared and watch out for your neighbors.
