Hard to comprehend Dorian ….. and what suffering is occurring for the good
people of the Bahamas.

To the non-believers …… CLIMATE CHANGE……?

Here in Belize and more specifically, Ambergris Caye the weather has been hot,
clear and dry for most of our “rainy season” so far. Actually quite beautiful
!! We had one super-windy night (not much rain) recently - tore up some trees
and we’re told gusts went to 60MPH.
We’ve had enough showers to wash off the dust, but nothing near normal. Some
mainland areas are in an actual drought.

Meanwhile, we’re watching an approaching Tropical Wave and hoping it brings
enough rain to bring real benefit to farmers and gardens.

Amazing to reach the last part of August with only 2 named storms on record.

- welcome rain

San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize ……. rumbling thunder last night and this
morning, intermittent rain normal breeze. Hoping for significant rainfall here
on the island to freshen gardens, fill cisterns and wash off the dust.
Rain or shine, it’s a beautiful day here (as usual).
