- Hot and Humid

Here in the Western Caribbean, things are pretty much the same as the season
began. It’s hot and humid during the day, with the same at night. We have been
blessed with frequent rain, mostly in the early morning and late afternoon.

Today is no different. A cell is moving in from the southeast, and the thunder
is pretty constant.

Yesterday, around sunset, Mother Nature inserted some color to the
thunderstorms.

Today has been a day of heavy rain, and continual lightning.

The past few months have been hot, humid and, downright uncomfortable. Working
outside is more of a challenge than anything else.

Th ingredients for an unstable atmosphere are in play. As I type, the rain is
heavy, and the lightning illuminates everywhere.

Hi Gert

Early start to the season.

We have been having rains and blustery weather from sub tropical storm Alberto for many days. The attached photos were taken at about 12 30 today

Having some rain in West Bay now but not very heavy. Had heavier showers about 9am today.

Take care.  Blessings.

Jen Dixon

I’m glad to say that the dry season has ended. Alberto, although far to our
west, is still impacting our local weather.

All three islands have experienced much needed rain over the last week.

As I type, driving rain is coming in from the south.

- Rain, rain, and more rain...

Happy week everyone.
We are getting soaked from a system that will not move past us. You can see the storm stretching from well south of the Cayman Islands all the way to South-Florida. It hasn't moved in days and is just swirling over us, giving lots of rain. Hopefully, the wind picks up this week and moves the storm away from us, but our eyes are already focused on an early start to storm season with this early wake-up call. Stay safe everyone.
