- TD 14

On Ambergris Caye …… TD 14 didn’t bring much of any rain to us yesterday and
nothing yet this morning.
The depression is affecting the wind-direction - giving us breeze from the
northwest and leaving the eastern shoreline in the lee of the winds. This wind
direction and current seems to have carried away some of the sargassum.
Dark gray skies. Cool temps.
Predictions are that some of the big rain-blob will arrive here this afternoon?

- All good in Belize

Quick note from Belize. Other than suffering from a surfeit of sargassum, the
sea is fine here and weather has been excellent.
We are aware of the uptick in storm activity in the Atlantic and are watching
Isaac closely as it stays tucked down low and approaches the doorway to the
Caribbean.
We are concerned for the good people in the path of Florence (looks really bad
unfortunately) and Isaac - and those in Hawaii with yet another typhoon headed
into that neighborhood.
Crazy that three tropical cyclones will be impacting three different locations
on or about the same day. Wild Wednesday and Trashing Thursday approach.

- Rains arrived

Good day tropical neighbors!
Yesterday the weather in offshore Northern Belize changed and last night it
settled into a full-on rumbly thundery rainy event.
Welcome respite from the heat and a “rainy season” that wasn’t very wet.
Cool temps - strong breeze. A nice change of pace for a day.
