Hi Gert,
Thanks for worrying but luckily the hurricane didn’t strike us as it was forecasted and went north west without doing any damage in Guadeloupe. We are still waiting for an aftermath report from the tiny island of « La Désirade » to know how they did cope.

As I’m the nearest from the path of the storm at the eastern town of Saint-François, I can say that we didn't have any wind damage nor flooding but perhaps more showers are expected now… I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Phil

Tommys so far has been a non event. We have been on alert since friday and was
waiting for the strong winds and rain promised but nothing happens . Trafic
business and school have been stopped for two days Just some strong gusts in
Désirade and to the east of the island. All warnings have been discontinued
for now. There is a joke here saying Tammy was Colombo s wife, always
expected never seen
