Good morning,

St John had some winds but nothing destructive as I can tell from the Cruz Bay side.  But my cistern is happy. I don’t have the detailed records that Rafe keeps but I recorded a total of 4.87” from Erin here in Cruz Bay. Cleaning up from the usual flooding areas around town, and not too many leaves in my very full pool, and my generator covered the roughly 9 hours WAPA was catching up. Mainly disappointed in our Cable/Phone/Internet provider as I missed watching Manchester City v Wolverhampton match Sunday. Futbol is very important for my weekends.

We got by this one but there’s more out there and it is early in the season. Be ready, be prepared and stay safe!

John

I’m located at Trunk Bay on the north side of St. John. Today we experienced
gusty winds of up to approximately 20 mph from the north and northwest,
clocking around to the west after about 4:00 pm. Rain was never hard but
numerous small rain bands produced around 1.25” from 6 pm Friday to 6 pm today,
Saturday. I have continuous daily rain records at my location since September
1983. These are provided weekly to the NWS, USDA, UVI and others.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you,

Rafe Boulon
