In the wake of Irma allot of "fake government websites" have been launched for no other reason than profit and clickthrough traffic redirection.

I live in Curacao, which is just like Sint Maarten, Holland and Aruba, a country within the Dutch Kingdom, so trust me, I know which the official government websites are.

Sint Maarten government websites (aka all others not on this list are fake)

Hope everyone is doing allright in the rest of the caribbean.
Blessings from down under. We have been coping with warmy weather and dry air.
We have been surprised today with some showers. It was warm and dry as usual in
the morning.
Clouds have been building up from the late morning. Its been showering most of
the central part of the island. Its very cool at the moment.

Reporting downwind from the oil refinery……
Guy reporter…..  Blessings and keep safe

Hi folks,
Remnants of tropical storm DON is approaching  our island.
Sky is partly gray and it's raining on and off.
Looking at the radar we surely will get some heavy rain with
possible lightning and thunder.
We needed the rain for a long time.
Maybe there will be flooding in some places.
Will keep you posted,

Robert

the strong windgusts are dying down as the last remains of Bert exit Curacao.
Current highest windgusts are 25.7 knots aka 46.7 km/h at station Seri Kokori.

A few areas experienced up to 7 mm rain.

Once again Curacao dodged a bullet.
