Heavy and sustained showers overnight that quenched our near drought conditions a little.
Registered almost 2" on our weather station.

Little to report from the BVI.  Moderate showers overnight and occasional weak gusts.  We understand that there is more to come.  The rain will be as welcome here as it is throughout our region.

In common with our neighbors, we are carefully monitoring the progress of TS Dolly.

The promise of a decent amount of rain is welcome.  But hopefully not too much....

We experienced isolated squalls last night.  Nothing of any concern, but they did bring some much needed rain (0.5"-0.8").

Very little presently for your BVI correspondent to offer by way of update.

We currently continue to see stable conditions.  In common with other islands, meaningful rainfall has been very scarce.

Wishing  all a safe 2026 Season.
