Welcome to the Quick Hurricane Web Resource Navigator
by the Caribbean Hurricane Network
For the latest advisories from the National Hurricane Center, forecasted path and satellite images select from the menu on the left.
The Tropical Prediction Center/National Hurricane Center issues the 'hurricane' advisories. When a strong hurricane is threatening the US coast or the Caribbean Islands, many people visit the website of the National Hurricane Center. This often results in overloading of their webserver, and thereby becomes basically unusable. Especially during these times people who live in the 'danger-zone' of the tropical system need access to these data, therefore 5 alternate (usually fast-loading) websites are listed in order to obtain the latest information.
