Rainfall what a wonderful sound.
almost 2 Inches since yesterday at my location

Hello all Just an up date saba had received 1.57 inches of rain for the Month of September. Today we have received 1.79 inches of rain up till now and it is still overcast and a light drizzle is down at this time.

Good day all,
although we were threatened by Tropical storms Danny and Erika the rainfall for the Month of August stands at 0.96" at my location.
Various parts of the island reported wind gusts from Erika ranging from 31 to 79 mph during her passing to our South.
The little rain we did have has brightened up some parts of the island but much more is needed, but not all at once as this may cause landslides and so forth.
The Island of Dominica has seen enough devastation from Erika and our prayers are going out to the people there.
The historical most active part of the H season is approaching and we all must stay vigilant as it only takes one.

July was a poor month for rain just as the 6 previous months before that.
July 0.72 parts of an inch.
Drought conditions persist and water trucks are running.
nothing of interest to report.
