It has been a long time since I have posted anything on StormCarib simply
because there hasn't been much to report, until tonight.
Today my umbrella literally got destroyed by a gust of wind that lasted for
about 15-20 seconds.
Tonight, the noise of the gusts, reminds me a bit of tropical storms Cayman has
had formed on or around us.
So, for the first time in a few years, I am paying close attention to this
Invest. Why? It's simple. The flare up on satellite images is one thing, but
when you view 97L in motion, you can see circulation.
That said, this system is somewhat badly organized, but predictions indicate it
could at least reach TD status at any point.
My correspondent and personal advice to EVERYONE in Cayman would be to watch
out for flooding, ensure pets are inside and safe and try to secure things
outside that might fly away because of gusts. Other than that, we should all be
ok :-)
