Hi,

Yesterday was a terrible day, it felt like 40 degr C and no wind.

Looking at the satellite pictures, Isaac is on top of Aruba, but hardly any wind yet and no rain.

Like Dave said, he is doing strange and you see two areas.

We will keep a close look at Isaac and we will report as soon as something is changing.

Good morning,

This morning I woke up and when I went out it was quit and it smelled like if it has been raining the whole night.
It didn't rain at all. There is no wind and now that the sun has come out, it very hot.
I guess this is what it looks like just before the storm hits.

There is no warning and I've noticed that everybody is just doing their thing.
Maybe things will change by this afternoon, once the clouds start coming along.

I do look forward to some rain, it's been very hot and dry here on the Island.

Take care, be good, be safe, stay sweet and keep in touch.
Raquel.

Hi,

This is the situation now at 07:30 am Sunday morning.

Yesterday was a very humid day and a few drops of rain here in Paradera.

At about 5 pm we had a big nice rainbow as if it was saying, “It is over”.

And it did, because nothing happened.

I don’t know yet what happened on Bonaire and Curacao, but we will know it during the day.

Till next time

Roy

Hi,

As you can see Ernesto is affecting Bonaire already, local time 07:21.

His speed is slow, 29 km per hour, so in a few hours he will pass our island Aruba.

According to the experts the eye will pass Aruba at appr. 224 km.

But as you can see the area is big so it will certainly have an impact on the island.

We will keep you informed.

Hi,

Noticed that the first mail was not delivered.

But Tropical Storm Ernesto, just passing the windward Islands is coming our way.

As the computer model shows what his track could be and showing that he will pass Aruba at quite a distance, but you never know what it will bring us.

Rain and changing of the wind direction and who knows with what force.

Anyhow we will keep an eye on him and keep you posted.

Later on I will hear from my family on Saba what their experience was.

Keep safe and strong.

Roy

Hi,

As you all know the new season started the 1st of June.

Till now the weather on Aruba is not bad, but we have sometimes very hard winds and most of the time cloudy.

The temperature is still over the thirties Celsius and it does not feel comfortable.

The humidity is not that high but still.

What this season will bring us God only knows and we can only hope and pray that for everybody it will be an easy one.

Anyhow we’ll wait and I will keep you posted concerning this Island of Aruba.

Till next time.

Roy
