Once again thanks for the information during the Hurricane season.
To all the wonderful Saban's enjoy the rest of Saba Day today.
November was one of the wettest months of the year this year with a total at my location of over 6 2/3 inches of precipitation which I am sure was much more on various other spots on the Island.
Last night we had 2 Inches of precipitation and looks as if we are in for some more late this evening and into Tomorrow.
Stay dry and cool.

Best regards to all,

Vince

All watches and Warnings have been dis continued for the Sink hole.
Maria is expected to pass North of SXM by 25 miles late this evening about 50 from the Sink Hole.
Hopefully we will receive some rain showers this evening and into tomorrow as Maria H A's out of here.
As soon as Maria clears the local area we should once again keep our eyes East as there are several waves waiting in line for a shot at the Belt

Rain has started for now and there has been a sustained wind at the Airport of 24 kts around 27 mph.
Some students are going to try body surfing in the road if it rains hard enough. Body Surfing on Saba ? ha

Well what a ting apart from a passing shower last night and one this morning we are seeing Sunshine and clear skies at this time.
Maria seems to have took a break East of ALL the Islands and even has a Tail down by Ven and the A.B.C Islands.
Do not let this fool us as she may be poised to build and take  a strike at any one in her sights.

Jose has been named and is no threat to Saba at this time.
He seems to be much more frail looking compared to what TD 10 looked like.
any how thank you far the internet and Storm Carib at least we can have some idea as to what is going on in the rest of the Tropics these days.
Wind has picked up a bit today compared to yesterday which was very calm and a Whelking day.

Good day all,
We are going to have to rename the Tropical update to the US update as we are it seems considered crap on the map right now.
In my opinion TD 10 had become TS Jose but is now a Fish story BUT who am I to u know what.
Irene came, saw, left and went on and around Saba, all boat owners did the right thing (so to write)
No damages reported.
We did however get 2 1/2 inches of rain.

Thats about all folks

Good day all,
WX conditions at this time are
Winds ENE - E +/_ 15kts hazy conditions at this time no precip reported
Weather system East of the Islands seems to be getting better organized and NOAA should be sending a recon in this afternoon from STX to see if there is a surface/ low level circulation.
Fishing vessel owners have taken or are taking the necessary precautions against the approaching weather system along with the Dive centers.
Congrats to WIN-AIR on fifty years of service throughout the Islands.

Best regards,

Ok all,
It seems the wx system to the East of Martinique is playing the fool so to speak.
To me it seems to be an open wave at this time 6:05 pm but like I said do not let Mother Nature fool us.

Light drizzle earlier this afternoon and loads of Saharan Dust around, can just about see EUX and SXM.
Hello to Sue and Fam and also Lin and fam,

Stay safe

Recon has not found a Westerly component as of yet but are still investigating the system.
Following up date should be in in a few minutes.

Nada zilch Nothing, Hurricane Hunters have not found reason enough to upgrade the wave to a T D but do not let ur Guard down.
Today is the finale day of The Saba Summer Festival and apart from a drizzle all seems to be going well.
It seems that some of the Islands to our South are getting rain showers according to the reports posted.

Stay safe

Good day all,
It seems there is now a T D out there and  I will not be surprised if it is not a storm already, the Hurricane Hunter Aircraft is enroute and updates should be in at 5 pm if not sooner.
The Fishermen are starting to haul their fishing vessels out and some may even go to SXM as a precaution.
So far winds are light and variable.
All residents need to monitor the system as it gets closer and on it's present track it should pass very close if not over the Northern Islands.

Tune in to the weather channel or try storm surf.

Greatings all from the S in the BES islands,

is that the tree's a rustling or the hinges of the gate or 34N and 08W showing a little spin.
Bret is not a threat to any of the Caribbean Islands and should continue on his track to the North Atlantic Grave Yard.
We have had some rain showers during the past few days and this will Green the S Island back up to her Colour.

Keep ur eyes East
