Good morning!

U. S. Navy Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba: current weather is light rain, no wind gusts.  Overcast sky with a slight breeze.  

TS Fay impact to the Navy Base started around noon 8/16 with wind gusts & spuratic rain showers….by late evening it was a constant light rain with wind gusts to 40 knots. 

The early light of Sunday proofed we were spared destructive winds of TS Fay.
