It looked very nice this a.m. We thought that the rain had finally stopped. Well, I believe we are wrong. The skys are cloudy and there has been thunder. No rain yet but the radar shows it coming. We had 6inches of rain over Thursday and Friday.

Goodmorning everyone,
Rudy and I woke up at 2:00am to thunder, lightening and lots of rain. By 7:30 am we had 1.85in. of rain. It is now pouring rain again with more thunder and lightening. The skys are black and the seas are a mess on the leeward side. Diving today does not look to promising.

Hello to all!
Rudy and I are back from our vacation. It was nice not having to worry about hurricanes but we sure could have used more rain. We had a total of 95mm. The grass is starting to turn brown. Seas are nice and calm and we have a light breeze.

Stay tooooooooned!

Greetings

Last night we had lots and lost of rain.
but this morning seems to work out very good.

The seas are flat and the sun is doing its best to remove some clouds.
It looks like the rest of the day is gonna be a real nice carribean sunny day.

So lets enjoy the beach and the diving.

Hello everyone.

The last 2 days on Statia have been very sticky and hot.
Almost no sunshine and skies are filled with concentrations of thick clouds.
Last two nights some nice showers, so the cisterns are filling up again.

for the rest nice diving weather.

Greetings from Statia

Came to work this morning to big waves and eroding beach. It would be nice if we could get some rain from this storm instead of rough seas. So far this month,we have had only 1.5in/28mm of rain compared to July where we had 7.0in/177mm. Except for the waves, the weather is that of a typical Caribbean Day.
All the best to our friends in Jamacia and the Cayman Islands.
