Heavy rains here in Guadeloupe. It was raining since 6 PM, with a few breaks. Now precipitations have increased around Pointe a Pitre area. We expect the first gusts in the next minutes as per NHC's last Advisory. The system was centered 25 km ESE from Guadeloupe, and the depression looks pretty concentrated around the circulation center.

Everybody has been surprised by this depression, despite the rains all last week-end long. Medias relayed the info so people are aware about the potential floodings.

Ouragans.com will monitor the progress of that depression for the next couple of days. Full info in french is available.

- GUADELOUPE

Nothing special in tems of winds(gusts to 35k),or rain.
But the sea was very rough, with swells reaching 6m in open water. This afternoon,we had an unusual swell in the carribean coasts(2m),with the waves crashing across the roads(some are closed in the south of the island at the time i posted this message).Very spectacular.
All my thoughts are for our friends in the southern island, specialy in Grenada, for all the families that are suffering fatalities.
God be with you,sincerly

The weather is cloudy, with passing showers coming from the NO.Ciroostratus mainly to the north. The wind is light, but alsio coming from an unusual direction(NO).
No severe weather is anticipated here, but we can get some heavy showers(specially if the feeder band to our SE at the present time reached the island .
Thoughts to our friends in the northen Leeward's,wher e stormy conditions are expected....
