We are back to the dock again! "GEORGES" has left and
continues to leave his path of destruction and death. We pray
for the people whom he has overwhelmed and those still in his
path. The Island of Grand Turk and the Turks & Caicos Islands
were thankfully spared. We can't even complain about the
salt spray and no rain, for fear of seeming ungrateful. We
have friends and associates throughout the affected islands
and if they read this our best wishes are with you. May
"GEORGES" (the name) be retired for good. At least we won't
have to argue about the pronunciation again. Sorry, that was
inappropriate.

Everyone boarded up their houses and was ready for the worst but as of today the sun is shining and we have plans here on the island for a big children and Junkanoo parade tomorrow as this week is Youth Week. The hurrican gave us a scare but at the present time we are thanking God and knowing that we are lucky once again. Charmaine Elliott
