Good luck to you in Ernesto's path. Here the Rio Dulce was 4' over her normal levels and although the water has receeded, we're still a foot and a half above where we should be. I haven't written in a while as there's been little weather here save the rains in June that caused the flooding.

Well, no hurricanes yet, that's good news, but we've had so much rain here that the river is about 3' over it's already high level. All the docks are without power, some of the stores have sandbagged but still have water on their floors. The water level started receeding last night until the rains again came and the level rose about 3" in as many hours. Nothing dangerous at this point, but annoying to all along the shoreline.
